1st & 2nd Place Winners

This contest was open to 7 different counties and two of our students won 1st ($100) and 2nd ($50) place.  They are shown in the photo with Mrs. Rutherford who presented their checks.   

Who IS my neighbor? The 7th grade enrichment students decided this question went far beyond the person next door. Their neighbors are people of the world; all cultures, all ethnic groups. Projects ranged from painted styrofoam worlds on pedastals with formed clay people to diversity posters representing all the continents. The top ten winning projects from our school will be sent to AU for judging. First place winners win $100. Shown below are some of the winning projects.
